Steps

  1. 1Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2Unroll the puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface.
  3. 3Form the pork sausage meat into two long logs, the length of the pastry sheet.
  4. 4Place one sausage log along one long edge of the pastry and the other log parallel to it, leaving space between them.
  5. 5Fold the pastry over each sausage log, pressing to seal the edges.
  6. 6Cut the pastry between the two rolls, then slice each log into 1-inch pieces.
  7. 7Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush over the top of each sausage roll. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown, serve with ketchup.
